Of course we are watching the world cup over here! New Zealand has a chance to go through to the next stage!!!! We have already made NZ history by getting a point, and then we had a draw with Italy, it's amazing!
Almost every pub, nightclub, backpackers etc in Auckland is showing all the world cup games, which are always on between 11pm and 3am over here. Our favourite place to go in Auckland is Nomads Fat Camel because of the good international atmosphere and cheap drinks J
Very hard to pick who will be world champion at the moment. For my guess the strongest looking teams at the moment are Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, and Brazil (but I hope It's not Brazil because they all take too many dives!) Any kind of result for the All Whites is incredible for us though, and if we even make it through to round 2 we will probably throw them a parade!
