Onze talenschool in Australië heeft ook 'World Cup Fever'! :-)
Dear Marjolein and Aniek
I am so excited with the World Cup! Australia is not a real soccer country but since I am originally from Brazil I am a big soccer fan!
I am definitely going to watch the soccer games - as many as I can. The unfortunate part of it is that due to the time difference most games are shown here in Australia at 4.30am. tonight for example I will wake up at 4.30am to watch Brazil and Korea. From the 3rd game on the 26th June I will start going out to watch the games (will stay home for the Korea and Ivory Coast games) ! The place to go here in Sydney is probably the Darling Harbor - this is the official place in Sydney to watch the World cup games. Check it out here!
Although I am originally from Brazil I also cheer for Australia (well , not a good start for them against Germany...). Australia is just starting to enjoy the World Cup (this is the second world cup that they participate). I am positive that in a few years this will be a big event here.
In my opinion the champion will be Brazil! At least this is what I hope in my heart! :-)
All the best of luck to your Dutch team. Regardless of who wins the World Cup is just such a wonderful event!
Cheers, Marcia
